The BIGHORN Behind A Miracle Scholarship was designed to ease the financial burden experienced by family member who have either lost a parent/relative to breast cancer, or whose parent/relative has been treated or is currently being treated for breast cancer. Several $1000 scholarships will be awarded to students in the Coachella Valley demonstrating positive growth from a difficult life experience. The number of awards given out will be determined based on the amount of funds raised from the BIGHORN BAM Walk for Life.

"I’ve seen kids put their college dreams on hold to help take care of mom and the family," shares
BIGHORN BAM Founder Selby Dunham. "We want to support those kids who give it all for their family, whether they are at 4-year universities, community colleges or private schools. We hope to grow this program and continue to build dreams!"
